The latest addition to the Bakalian enterprise, Bakelab is a professional hub dedicated to the perfection of baking using locally milled flour.
Bakelab is the first of its kind in Lebanon as the research and training arm of one of the most established flour mills in the country. It is the one-stop venue for baking solutions open to professionals who wish to develop their skills in Baking Technology and knowledge of the wheat sector, from cereals to specialized bread-making.
Equipped with state-of-the-art technology of Bongard (France), Bakelab allows trainees to learn in optimal working conditions. The facility has two meeting rooms, a test bakehouse, a laboratory and a quality department.

Research & Development
With a vision to invest in local milling, production and expertise, Bakelab is continuously developing and improving recipes of international baking (loafs, viennoiseries, …) using customized Lebanese flour developed at Bakalian Flour Mills.
The center hosts professional meetings, public programming and industry discussions open to all stakeholders.
Baking is a delicate science, so high-grade flour must also be coupled with top-level technique to achieve best results. Bakelab offers trainings and workshops for local baking professionals to ensure and sustain high standards.
A wide training program and specific masterclasses are offered by local and international Masterbakers and experts in the field of baking and pastry.
